On Wednesday morning, the TCD editorial digital team embarked on a journey to Mwingi West constituency to gather firsthand opinions from the locals about the leadership of their MP, Hon. Charles Ngusya Nguna.
Upon reaching the historic Migwani town, the team engaged with various community members, including boda boda riders, shopkeepers, and pedestrians, to gauge their satisfaction with their MP’s performance. Out of ten individuals interviewed, eight expressed satisfaction with Hon. Nguna’s leadership, citing development projects and accessibility as key factors.
This overwhelming approval highlights Hon. Nguna’s strong foothold in Mwingi West and suggests that unseating him in the 2027 elections will be no easy task. Analysts believe that those aspiring to challenge the young Wiper Party MP must conduct thorough groundwork to appeal to the constituency.
As the 2027 elections approach, all eyes will remain on Mwingi West to see how the political dynamics unfold.
