Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o, along with Tharaka Ward MCA Hon. Muthengi Ndagara, has called upon Deputy President Professor Abraham Kithure Kindiki to prioritize uniting the Country following the recent impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua. The MCAs urged Kindiki to mend the rift within Mt kenya region, which they say has been deeply affected by political divisions.
During a public address, Hon. Nding’o emphasized the importance of national unity and called on the deputy president to serve all Kenyans, irrespective of political alignments. “The Deputy President should serve the entire country, regardless of political persuasion, and focus on uniting all people,” Nding’o stated.
The two MCAs expressed concern over the tension in Mt. Kenya, stressing that the current political climate requires inclusive leadership and dialogue to foster stability. Hon. Ndakara noted that these efforts are crucial to strengthening the nation as a whole.
Hon. Nding’o also highlighted the need for Deputy President Kindiki to play a supportive role in President William Ruto’s agenda for national unity, underscoring that cohesive leadership would set the stage for a prosperous Kenya.
These remarks reflect growing calls from local leaders for collaborative and inclusive governance at a time when the country is navigating complex political dynamics.
