Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA), Hon. Mark Nding’o, conducted an inspection of the ongoing opening of the King’atani to Kathome road. The infrastructure project is a vital initiative funded by the County Government of Kitui.
Speaking during the site visit, Hon. Nding’o emphasized the critical role of infrastructure in driving economic growth. “Infrastructure is the backbone of economic growth. Economists travel on infrastructure,” he stated, highlighting the importance of good roads in improving livelihoods and fostering development.
The King’atani to Kathome road project is set to enhance connectivity, ease transportation, and open up economic opportunities for the local communities. Residents in the area have lauded the County Government’s efforts, expressing optimism that the road will significantly improve access to markets, schools, and health facilities.
