Kitui South MP Dr. Racheal Kaki Nyamai on Sunday, July 26, 2026, joined senior UDA leaders at Twimyua Market in Kyuso, Mwingi North Constituency, for a public engagement and economic empowerment programme hosted by Hon. Martha Mati.
The event brought together a host of national and county leaders, including Principal Secretary Jonathan Mueke, Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai, State House Coordinator of Programmes Boniface Musambi, Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna, Hon. Beth Syengo, Hon. Penina Malonza, Hon. Joe Mutambu, Hon. Charles Mwalimu, Kitui County Assembly Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo, Hon. Deborah Mutuku, and several Members of the County Assembly, among them Hon. Muthengi Dangara.
Addressing residents, the leaders emphasized the importance of economic empowerment, citizen participation, and collaboration in accelerating development across Kitui County. They reiterated their commitment to supporting government programmes aimed at improving livelihoods and expanding access to development opportunities.
Dr. Nyamai said the empowerment initiative reflects the government’s resolve to work closely with wananchi while ensuring communities benefit from ongoing and future development projects.
The gathering also served as a platform for leaders to engage directly with residents on key development priorities and reaffirm their support for the government’s development agenda in Kitui County.
