The Residents of Mwingi West have reaffirmed their support for area Member of Parliament Hon. Charles Nguna, popularly known as “Kavaa Hon CNN Siku Sote,” citing his development record and close engagement with the grassroots as the reasons behind their confidence in his leadership.
Speaking during various public engagements across the constituency, residents praised the legislator for what they described as effective, people-centered leadership since taking office. They said Nguna has consistently prioritized development over politics, focusing on projects that directly improve the lives of wananchi.
The locals highlighted progress in road infrastructure, support for education, and empowerment initiatives targeting youth and women’s groups as some of the achievements that have strengthened his popularity across Mwingi West.
They further noted that the MP has remained accessible to constituents, regularly consulting residents on key issues affecting the constituency and responding to their concerns.
Expressing confidence in his leadership, the residents declared that they are prepared to support Nguna for a third term in the 2027 General Election. They maintained that their backing is based on his performance rather than political party affiliation, insisting they would support him regardless of the party under which he contests.
