Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to accelerating development projects across the county, saying his government will continue prioritising investments that directly improve the lives of residents.
The Governor said his administration remains focused on delivering tangible development through key sectors, particularly water, roads and healthcare, noting that improved infrastructure and access to essential services are critical to transforming communities and raising the living standards of wananchi.
Malombe emphasised that development remains a central pillar of his administration, assuring residents that the County Government will sustain its efforts to reach communities across Kitui with projects that respond to their everyday needs.
The Governor made the remarks on Thursday, November 5, 2026, when he joined family members, friends and residents at the burial ceremony of the late Clement Nzele Maema in Tanganyika area, Yatta/Kwavonza Ward, Kitui Rural Sub-County.
His message underscored his administration’s resolve to keep development at the centre of governance, with continued investment in essential services expected to strengthen service delivery and improve livelihoods across the 40 wards of Kitui County.
