Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o on Sunday joined worshippers at St. Martin’s Cathedral in Kitui Town for a church service presided over by the Anglican Diocese of Kitui, where President William Ruto was also in attendance alongside other national and county leaders.
According to the MCA, his attendance at the service followed a personal invitation from the ACK Bishop of Kitui, who is his relative, and was not connected to the President’s visit.
Hon. Nding’o said he remains committed to working with leaders across the political divide to ensure the people of Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward continue to benefit from both county and national government development programmes.
The MCA has consistently maintained that service delivery remains his top priority ahead of the 2027 General Election.
“Baada ya miaka 5 niliyochaguliwa na wapiga kura wa Yatta Kwa Vonza, wao ndio watanipa mwelekeo ni kiti gani wanataka niitishe. Kwa sasa tufanye kazi, wakati wa siasa bado,” Hon. Nding’o has often said.
His remarks underscore his position that leadership should focus on development rather than early political campaigns.
The church service brought together hundreds of faithful from the Anglican Diocese of Kitui, clergy, and leaders from different levels of government.
