Jacob Ngwele Muvengei Appointed to Political Parties Disputes Tribunal

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appointed Jacob Ngwele Muvengei as a member of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal.

According to Gazette Notice No. 13015 issued under the Political Parties Act (Cap. 7D), the appointment is for a non-renewable six-year term, effective from July 6, 2026.

The appointment was made pursuant to Section 39(2)(b) of the Political Parties Act. The Gazette Notice was dated August 11, 2026 and signed by Martha K. Koome, Chief Justice and Chairperson of the Judicial Service Commission.

Muvengei will serve on the tribunal, which handles disputes arising from political parties and matters governed by the Political Parties Act.
