Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Kitute Ndingo on Wednesday officiated the handover of a completed drift project at Kwa Ngaya along the Kiumoni–Kyua Road in Makusya.
The project, implemented by the Kitui County Government, is aimed at improving road connectivity and easing movement of residents, motorists and goods along the route, particularly during rainy seasons when crossings can become difficult.
The development forms part of the county government’s ongoing infrastructure improvement programmes under the leadership of Governor Dr. Julius Makau Malombe, with the administration seeking to enhance accessibility and support socio-economic activities across Yatta Kwa Vonza and the wider Kitui County.
