Kitui County Assembly has a new Majority Leader, with Kanyangi Ward MCA Hon. Bonface Mukwate Katula elevated to the influential position.
Katula, who previously served as the Majority Whip, takes over the Majority Leader’s position following the elevation of his predecessor, Hon. Harrison Maluki, to the position of Clerk of the Kitui County Assembly.
His promotion places him at the centre of leadership and legislative business in the County Assembly, where he is expected to play a key role in coordinating the Majority side and steering government business on the floor of the House.
The elevation marks a significant political milestone for Katula and further raises the profile of Kanyangi Ward in Kitui County’s political and legislative affairs.
