Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has proudly inaugurated the newly built and fully operational Kaluluini Dispensary in Mutha Ward, a significant step in making essential healthcare services more accessible for residents living several kilometers away from Mutha Market.
Situated roughly 11 kilometers from Mutha Market, this health facility is set to alleviate the challenges faced by locals who have had to travel long distances for basic medical care.
During the inauguration, Governor Malombe emphasized that the County Government of Kitui is committed to further investing in the dispensary to boost its capabilities and enhance service delivery.
He shared exciting plans to equip the dispensary with a laboratory, install solar lighting, and even consider establishing a maternity unit, which would greatly expand the healthcare options available to the community.
Area MCA Hon. Mwamisi expressed his support for the new facility, highlighting its vital role in meeting the daily health needs of residents and improving healthcare access within the ward.
This commissioning is part of the Kitui County Government’s ongoing efforts to invest in health infrastructure, aiming to bring essential services closer to communities throughout the county.
