Youths and women remain key constituencies in Kitui’s political landscape, with their participation expected to shape conversations around leadership, representation and development.

During the engagement, residents had an opportunity to interact with the Women Representative and share their views on matters affecting their livelihoods. Such forums provide a platform for leaders to connect directly with communities and understand the priorities of local residents.

Kasalu’s continued presence in different parts of Kitui comes at a time when the race for the county’s gubernatorial seat is attracting growing attention.
