Kitui East MP aspirant Henry Nyamai has continued to stand with bereaved families across the constituency, joining residents in mourning and offering support during difficult moments.
On Wednesday, September 3, 2026, Nyamai joined residents of Mwitika at Wanamba for the burial of Moses Kasee Nzalu Luvilu, who tragically lost his life in a motor accident. The gathering brought together family members, friends and residents to bid farewell to a member of the community.
Nyamai was accompanied by Zombe-Mwitika MCA Hon. Malinga and former MCA Hon. Mwathi, as leaders joined the family and residents in paying their final respects to the deceased.
Two days later, on Saturday, September 5, Nyamai, who serves as the County Executive Committee Member for Energy and Natural Resources, joined another grieving family in Kaluasi, Voo, Kitui East, to mourn three children from the family of Mr. and Mrs. Mutemi Mala.
The three children tragically died after consuming maize suspected to have been contaminated with aflatoxin, leaving the family and the wider community devastated by the loss of the young lives.
Speaking through his presence and solidarity with the bereaved families, Nyamai shared in their pain, describing the loss of the three children as heartbreaking and difficult to bear. He conveyed his condolences and stood with the family as they laid their children to rest.
Nyamai’s visits underline his commitment to standing with residents not only during moments of development and celebration, but also during times of grief and tragedy. As he continues his bid for the Kitui East parliamentary seat, he has urged the community to remain united in supporting families facing difficult circumstances and to keep the bereaved families in their prayers.
