Kitui East MP hopeful Hon. Henry Nyamai has continued with his community outreach activities after joining residents of Kyeni Kya Aka Itangani for a fundraising event aimed at supporting the welfare group to acquire a tent. Nyamai backed the initiative, highlighting the importance of community-led programmes in supporting local activities and bringing residents together.
Nyamai also joined the Nancy Mwetu family in Kawala, Mutito-Kaliku Ward, where residents came together to raise funds to support the education of four children pursuing secondary and university education. The family appealed for support from well-wishers to help meet the children’s school fees and enable them to continue with their studies.
During the fundraiser, Nyamai pledged his support towards the family’s efforts, noting that education remains an important investment in the future of young people. He encouraged members of the community and other well-wishers to contribute towards ensuring that the four students remain in school despite the financial challenges facing their family.
The Kitui East MP hopeful later joined Ndundumini residents in Zombe-Mwitika Ward for another fundraising drive in support of the Muthami Kathema family. The fundraiser sought to raise money to enable the family’s son to join university and begin his higher education journey.
Nyamai’s engagements are part of his continued grassroots outreach across Kitui East, where he has been participating in community welfare activities and supporting families facing financial challenges. The events brought together residents, friends and well-wishers in a show of community solidarity and collective responsibility in supporting education and local development.
