Corporate leader and Kitui gubernatorial hopeful CPA Nicholas Mulila has extended his support to residents of Mwambiu in Nuu Ward, contributing towards the construction of the area chief’s office.
Represented by Dr. Kasomo during a local Harambee, Mulila contributed KSh20,000 and 50 bags of cement, offering practical support to a project aimed at improving the working environment for local administration and residents seeking government services.
The contribution comes as residents mobilise resources to put up the chief’s office, a facility expected to provide a more accessible space for community members seeking administrative services and assistance.
For the residents involved in the project, Mulila’s contribution was more than a financial donation. It was a demonstration of solidarity with a community working to improve an institution that serves people at the grassroots.
Mulila’s supporters say the gesture reflects his approach to leadership, which they describe as being centred on supporting community initiatives and strengthening local institutions.
As he positions himself for the 2027 Kitui gubernatorial race, Mulila has continued to cultivate grassroots networks across the county, with his supporters presenting such engagements as evidence of his commitment to community-driven development.
