Incoming Kitui Central MP Hon. Nzilu Nzioka, popularly known as Kamwana Ka Wia, spent Saturday engaging residents across the constituency, reaffirming his grassroots approach to leadership ahead of the 2027 elections.
Nzioka began the day in Ndumoni, where he joined Agnes Musuva in celebrating a new home, before standing with the family of the late Ben Mulutu during a condolence visit. He later proceeded to Itoleka, where he joined the family of Anne Samuel for her final send-off.
At Itoleka, Nzioka also participated in Maingi Mutia’s Nzoki ceremony, sharing in the community’s cultural traditions and social life. His engagements brought together moments of celebration, grief and culture, underscoring his message of remaining connected to residents beyond political meetings.
His supporters say the visits demonstrate a leadership style centred on listening, presence and service, as he intensifies grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 Kitui Central parliamentary contest.
