Ikanga MCA Hon. Cyrus Sonko has stood with three bereaved families in Tutu Village, Kathungu Sub-location, Ikanga/Kyatune Ward, following the tragic deaths of three young men in a road accident.
On Wednesday evening, Sonko joined family members, friends and local leaders during a fundraising *Harambee* to help raise funds for burial preparations for the three young men whose lives were cut short a few days ago.
The deceased, identified as **Jeremiah Wambua Masua, Nzeu Ndivo and Juma Wambua Mikakaa**, were all bodaboda operators. Their sudden deaths have left their families and the wider community mourning the loss of young men who had their lives ahead of them.
In a gesture of support to the grieving families, MCA Sonko provided **three hearse vehicles** to transport the bodies home for burial, helping ease the burden on the families during this difficult period.
Sonko was accompanied by Hon. Waziri Dr. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele and Governor Dr. Julius Malombe’s Political Advisor, Hon. Mwangu Ivuti, as they joined residents in offering condolences and solidarity to the affected families.
The tragic incident has once again highlighted the devastating impact of road accidents on families and communities, particularly among young people who depend on bodaboda operations for their livelihoods.
As preparations for the burials continue, the families remain in need of support and comfort from friends, neighbours and well-wishers.
May the souls of Jeremiah Wambua Masua, Nzeu Ndivo and Juma Wambua Mikakaa rest in eternal peace, and may their families find strength during this painful moment.
