Kitui Central MP aspirant Boniface Mutisya Musambi, popularly known as Nzeve Nzau, has urged President William Ruto to consider additional road construction projects in the constituency to improve transport and boost local economic activities.
During the President’s recent development tour of Kitui Central, Musambi proposed the construction of the Kwa Ngindu–Museve–Waluku–Miambani–Kamandio road, saying improved connectivity would ease movement and open up communities to new economic opportunities.
Musambi also expressed gratitude to President Ruto for commissioning development projects and engaging directly with residents, describing Kitui Central as a beneficiary of the government’s ongoing development agenda.
He further called for the long-awaited tarmacking of the Kwa Ngindu–Museve–Miambani–Kamandio–Mwingi road, noting that poor road conditions continue to create transport challenges, particularly during the rainy season.
The proposed road improvements are expected to strengthen connectivity between communities, ease the transportation of farm produce and improve access to essential services if implemented.
Musambi, who is seeking the Kitui Central parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election, reiterated his support for President Ruto and called for more infrastructure investment to address the constituency’s development needs.
