ENOCH KIIO WAMBUA JOINS GACHAGUA AT KIKUYU CHURCH SERVICE, DELIVERS KALONZO’S MESSAGE

Kitui Senator Enoch Kiio Wambua on Sunday joined Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, alongside other DCP and Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) leaders, for a church service at PCEA Kamangu Church in Kikuyu Constituency, Kiambu County.

Wambua’s presence at the service placed him at the centre of a political engagement bringing together leaders from the two political outfits, as they continued to strengthen their working relationship ahead of the 2027 General Election.

The Kitui senator was leading a delegation representing WPF leader Kalonzo Musyoka, with the responsibility of delivering his message to the congregation and political leaders gathered at Kamangu. His participation highlighted the ongoing engagement between WPF and DCP as opposition leaders seek to consolidate their political influence.

After the church service, Wambua was expected to join DCP leaders in a series of public engagements across Kikuyu Constituency, extending the day’s activities beyond the pulpit to direct interaction with residents and local political networks.

The visit comes as political alignments ahead of the 2027 elections continue to take shape, with Wambua positioning himself as a key WPF representative in the engagements. His supporters have also projected him as a potential candidate for the Kitui governorship, adding another dimension to his growing political visibility beyond the Senate.
