Kitui County Assembly Deputy Speaker Hon. Chris Nzilu Nzioka on Saturday joined the family of Peter Kimanzi, relatives and friends in Mbakini, Mwingi West, to celebrate two important milestones: Kimanzi’s retirement and his daughter’s graduation as an Administration Police Constable (APC).
The occasion brought together family members, friends and well-wishers to honour years of service while celebrating the daughter’s achievement in joining the National Police Service. It was a proud moment for the family, marking both the close of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Nzilu later attended Patricia’s event in Unyaa, continuing his engagement with members of the community. The gatherings provided an opportunity for people to connect, share memorable moments and celebrate milestones that bring families and communities together.
In his reflection on the day, Nzilu described the togetherness and unity witnessed as priceless and deeply encouraging. His participation in the events underscored the importance of family bonds, friendship and community connections beyond political and public engagements.
Nzilu, who is eyeing the Kitui Central parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election, continues to maintain a public presence as he positions himself for the race. He concluded with a message of goodwill, praying for God’s blessings upon Kitui Central and Kenya at large.
