Residents of Kanziko in Kitui South are set to benefit from improved healthcare services following the commissioning of major projects at Kanziko Health Centre by Kitui Governor Julius Malombe. The newly unveiled developments include a modern male ward, a fully equipped maternity unit, and expanded outpatient facilities aimed at enhancing the hospital’s capacity.
Speaking during the commissioning, Governor Malombe noted that the upgrades will play a critical role in strengthening maternal and child health services while ensuring that more patients can be attended to efficiently. He emphasized that the improvements are part of the county government’s broader plan to bring quality healthcare services closer to the people.
The renovation and expansion works are also expected to ease congestion at the facility and provide a more comfortable environment for both patients and healthcare workers.
