YATTA KWA VONZA, KITUI COUNTY, Wednesday, July 29, 2026 — Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o on Wednesday morning officially handed over the site for the construction of a staff toilet at Kwavonza Health Centre in Kwavonza Ward.
The project is aimed at improving sanitation and working conditions for healthcare workers, while enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services offered at the facility.
Speaking during the site handover, Hon. Nding’o reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure across the ward, noting that adequate sanitation facilities are essential in ensuring a safe and dignified working environment for medical personnel.
The MCA said the construction of the staff toilet forms part of his broader development agenda to improve public health facilities and ensure residents receive quality healthcare services closer to home.
Residents and health workers welcomed the initiative, expressing optimism that the project will boost hygiene standards and create a more conducive environment for both staff and patients at Kwavonza Health Centre.
