CPA John Makau Kimwele Strengthens Community Ties Through Support Initiatives and Social Engagement in Mwingi Central

Mwingi Central parliamentary candidate Hon. John Makau Kimwele spent the weekend engaging with residents through community support initiatives and participation in key social events, highlighting his continued presence among local residents and stakeholders.

In a gesture that was warmly welcomed by members of the Mwingi Bus Park Self-Help Group (S.H.G.), Hon. Makau donated uniforms to the group. Members expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the contribution would enhance unity and identity within the organization while strengthening their activities.

Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Makau reiterated the importance of supporting community-based groups and empowering local initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods. The event attracted members and supporters who commended the move as a positive step toward strengthening community welfare.

Later in the day, Hon. Makau joined family members and friends of the Mutemi family in celebrating the Royal Wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Ben Mbau. During the occasion, he extended his congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds, wishing them a joyful and successful marriage journey.

The wedding ceremony was also attended by Prof. Mumo Kisau and former Provincial Commissioner Hon. Musikali Mutemi, who later voiced support for Makau’s political bid. The weekend activities reflected Hon. Makau’s continued engagement with the people of Mwingi Central through both social participation and community support initiatives.
