Mutha Ward’s rising sporting talent, Miss Purity, popularly known as the “Queen of Jump,” is set to represent Kenya at the ANOCA Africa Championship Games in Senegal in October 2026.
Purity hails from Mathima in Mutha Ward, Kitui County, She is a student at Mutomo girls in grade 9 where she has steadily built a name for herself through her exceptional jumping talent and determination. Her remarkable ability has earned her the affectionate title of the “Queen of Jump” among those who have followed her journey.

Coming from a humble background, Purity’s journey to the continental stage is a powerful story of talent, hard work and resilience. Her selection to participate in the ANOCA Africa Championship Games is a major milestone not only for her but also for Mutha Ward and Kitui County.
Former Cabinet Secretary Penina Malonza has played an important mentorship role in Purity’s journey, supporting and guiding the young athlete in various aspects as she pursues her sporting dreams.
