Outstanding Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o on Tuesday joined Mutomo Ward MCA Hon. Masaku during the second day of the week-long public participation exercise on the 2026/2027 Financial Year Budget Estimates held in Mutomo Ward, Kitui South.
The public forum attracted a large turnout of residents who presented their views, priorities, and development proposals to guide the county government’s budgeting process. Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Nding’o lauded the residents for actively participating, noting that public involvement is essential in ensuring the county budget reflects the needs and aspirations of the people.
The meeting was also attended by Kitui County Assembly Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo, who underscored the importance of citizen participation in promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusive decision-making in the allocation of county resources for the 2026/2027 financial year.
