Kitui South MP Dr. Racheal Nyamai on Monday joined residents of Endau in Kitui East Constituency for an empowerment forum hosted by Kitui East MP Hon. Nimrod Mbai, bringing together women, youth, community groups and elders to discuss economic empowerment, government programmes and opportunities available to local communities.
The forum was attended by Eastern Regional Commissioner Jacob Ouma Muganda, former Mwingi Central MP Hon. Joe Mutambu, Hon. Beth Syengo, Hon. Esther Ndile, Hon. Boniface Musambi, Kitui County Assembly Speaker Kevin Kinengo, Hon. Martha Mati, Hon. Moses Banda and several members of the Kitui County Assembly.
In her address, Dr. Nyamai highlighted what she described as key development milestones achieved under President William Ruto’s administration across Kitui County. She pointed to investments in infrastructure, empowerment initiatives, agriculture and education, saying the interventions were creating opportunities and improving livelihoods for residents.
The Kitui South MP also commended improvements in security, noting that a peaceful environment was critical in enabling residents to engage in economic activities and pursue development without fear. She urged residents to continue supporting the government’s development agenda, arguing that sustained cooperation would help attract and accelerate more projects across the region.
Regional Commissioner Jacob Ouma Muganda, meanwhile, focused on security and government policy, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring national programmes reach communities at the grassroots. He urged residents to cooperate with security agencies and take advantage of government empowerment initiatives.
