Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Mark Nding’o today presided over the handover of a newly constructed concrete slab at Kyosini–Kaseve Road in Ilika Village, marking another milestone in efforts to improve road infrastructure within the ward.
The project is expected to enhance accessibility and ease movement for residents, particularly during rainy seasons when roads often become difficult to use.
In addition to the Kyosini–Kaseve Road slab, four other concrete slabs constructed along the Kyainya–Ilika Road were also inspected and officially handed over to the community.
Speaking during the exercise, the MCA emphasized the importance of investing in infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity, supporting economic activities, and enhancing service delivery to residents.
Community members welcomed the developments, expressing optimism that the improved road infrastructure will boost transport, trade, and access to essential services within the area.
