Kitui Central MP hopeful Bonnie Musambi on Friday joined a series of community empowerment forums in Kitui West and Kitui Rural constituencies, where he urged residents to support President William Ruto’s development agenda.
Musambi first accompanied Kitui West MP aspirant and Commissioner Benedict Muasya during an empowerment programme in Matinyani before later joining Kitui Rural MP aspirant Hon. John Kisangau, popularly known as Mbaki Mbaki, at Matulani for another public engagement and community empowerment event.
Addressing residents at the forums, Musambi called on the people of Kitui Rural and Kitui West to rally behind President Ruto, saying the Head of State is committed to transforming the region through development projects and economic empowerment initiatives.
He argued that the President’s development agenda offers more opportunities for residents than the opposition, urging locals to focus on leaders who champion tangible development.
The forums brought together residents, local leaders and welfare groups, with speakers emphasizing unity, grassroots empowerment and support for initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods across Kitui County.
