Kitui West parliamentary aspirant and Commissioner Benedict Muasya has reaffirmed his commitment to people-centred leadership, saying the strongest foundations are built not with stone, but in the hearts of the people. Speaking after joining worshippers at AIC Kalia Church in Matinyani Ward, where he supported ongoing church development projects, Muasya said places of worship play a vital role in nurturing faith, strengthening families, shaping values and giving communities hope during both joyful and difficult times.
He noted that true leadership is demonstrated by walking alongside the people where life happensโin prayer, service and shared responsibility. Muasya added that supporting institutions that uphold the moral and spiritual fabric of society goes beyond constructing buildings, saying it helps build resilient, united and value-driven communities. He reiterated his commitment to partnering with local communities in advancing initiatives that promote both social and spiritual development across Kitui West.
