Hon. Mark Nding’o on Saturday afternoon presided over a successful fundraising drive for the Nthike Welfare Association at Kiumoni, bringing together residents, leaders and well-wishers in support of a community development initiative. The event aimed to mobilize resources towards the completion of a commercial block being constructed by the association.
Addressing members during the fundraiser, Hon. Nding’o commended the Nthike Welfare Association for embracing unity and self-help initiatives that promote economic empowerment. He noted that the commercial block will provide business opportunities for members, generate income for the association and contribute to the economic growth of the Kiumoni area once completed.
The MCA reaffirmed his commitment to supporting community-driven development projects, emphasizing that such initiatives complement government efforts to improve livelihoods. He encouraged residents to continue working together in advancing projects that create sustainable benefits for the community, while expressing confidence that the commercial block would soon be completed through the collective support of stakeholders.
