Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o has met the Board of Management (BOM) of Ngamyone Primary School to discuss emerging issues surrounding the ongoing construction of the community field at the school.
Nding’o said the meeting, held earlier on Monday, followed a request by the school’s BOM to engage him on concerns they had raised regarding the construction project.
The MCA said some of the issues raised by the BOM would be addressed by the contractor during the ongoing works, while other matters would be handled after completion of the construction.
“I was impressed by the progress of the works,” Nding’o said, noting that the project is expected to be completed in December.
The Ngamyone Community Field is expected to provide residents and pupils with an improved facility for sports, recreation and other community activities once completed.
Nding’o reiterated his commitment to engaging with local institutions and stakeholders to ensure development projects within Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward are implemented effectively and respond to the needs of the community.
