Celebrated Kamba Benga superstar Alex Kasau Katombi has clarified his position regarding an event he withdrew from in July, insisting that his decision had nothing to do with the event’s finances or any ongoing personal dispute.

Katombi said he had been paid but later refunded the money after deciding to withdraw from the event. He maintained that he is not fighting anyone and that his comments are simply based on facts and his personal assessment of how the event was organized.

“I myself cannot be a part of an event that I think is not well organized,” Katombi said, stressing that his decision was based on his standards and concerns about the organization of the event.

The Kamba Benga star also dismissed the suggestion that he needs bloggers to organize or promote his events, saying he is capable of handling his own publicity. “I don’t need bloggers to do an event. I myself can blog better than them,” he stated, while emphasizing that his remarks should not be interpreted as a personal fight with anyone.
