Incoming Kitui East MP Hon. Henry Nyamai on Sunday joined worshippers and members of the community at AIC Masasini in Mutito-Kaliku Ward, Kitui East Constituency, where he supported the church’s development initiatives.
Nyamai was accompanied by Kitui Central MP and gubernatorial aspirant Hon. Makali Mulu during the church visit.
Addressing the congregation, Nyamai sought prayers and support as he pursues his bid to serve the people of Kitui East as their next Member of Parliament.
Quoting Psalm 107:1, Nyamai said: “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!”
He thanked the church and community for their continued commitment to faith, unity and development, saying he looks forward to working closely with residents in advancing the constituency’s development agenda.
The visit comes as political activity continues to gather momentum in Kitui ahead of the 2027 General Election, with aspirants increasingly engaging residents through church and community events.
