Mp Nyamai Urges Mwingi North Residents to Back Ruto for Continued Development

Kitui South Member of Parliament Dr. Racheal Nyamai on Sunday evening joined Mwingi North parliamentary hopeful Martha Mati and Tharaka Ward MCA Muthengi Dangara for an empowerment and engagement forum at Nthangani, Tharaka Ward, bringing together women, youth and elders from the community.

The forum provided a platform for residents and leaders to discuss grassroots socio-economic development, community empowerment and the importance of unity in driving progress. Nyamai emphasized the need for communities to remain united and actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods.

In her address, Nyamai highlighted the government’s development agenda and various projects being implemented to improve the lives of Kenyans. She urged residents to support programmes that are intended to expand opportunities for young people, empower women and strengthen economic activity at the grassroots.

Nyamai also called on the people of Mwingi North to rally behind President William Ruto in the 2027 General Election, arguing that continued support would give the administration an opportunity to sustain its development agenda and fulfil its promises to Kenyans.

The forum was also attended by Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai, Senator Beth Syengo, Kitui County Assembly Speaker Kevin Kinengo, Kitui gubernatorial aspirant Peninah Malonza and other leaders. The leaders used the gathering to engage residents on development, political leadership and the need for cohesion as the region prepares for the 2027 elections.
