Kitui County Assembly Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya has urged residents of Kanyangi Ward in Kitui Rural Constituency to support the Kenya Kwanza administration under President William Ruto, saying the government’s development agenda offers an opportunity to accelerate growth across Kitui County.
Kinengo spoke on Friday during a public engagement and empowerment forum in Kanyangi, led by Kitui South MP Dr. Racheal Kaki Nyamai and hosted by Hon. John Kisangau ‘Mbaki Mbaki’ and Kanyangi MCA and Majority Leader Hon. Bonface Mukwate Katula.
The Speaker said President Ruto had demonstrated commitment to equitable development and called on residents to rally behind the administration as it implements projects aimed at improving livelihoods and expanding opportunities for Kenyans.
Kinengo said he was encouraged by what he described as Kanyangi residents’ readiness to support President Ruto, noting that the community viewed the President as a leader with transformative ideas and a clear development agenda for Kitui and the country.
He was accompanied by Hon. Bonface Mukwate Katula, Nominated MCA Hon. Deborah Mutuku and Nominated MCA Hon. Pricilla Martha Makumi during the engagement.
