Henry Nyamai Joins Kalonzo, Kanani at Kyuso School Bus Handover
Kitui East MP hopeful Henry Nyamai on Tuesday joined Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Kitui Deputy Governor Augustine Kanani during the handover of a new school bus to Mama Pauline Kalonzo Girls Senior Secondary School in Kyuso, Mwingi North.
Kalonzo was the chief guest at the colourful ceremony where he officially handed over the bus to the school, marking an investment aimed at supporting learners and improving access to educational opportunities.
Nyamai, who is seeking to represent Kitui East in the 2027 General Election, said education and better learning environments would be among his key priorities if elected.
“When elected, investing in education and improving learning environments will be among my key agenda. I will equip our schools with the infrastructure and resources they need to give our children a better future,” Nyamai said.
The event was also attended by Deputy Governor Kanani, Senatorial aspirant Waziri Mbaya Kimwele, Mwingi Central MP aspirant CPA John Makau Kimwele, Kitui West MP hopeful Waziri Kimanga, EALA MP Kennedy Kalonzo, Hon. Rose Museo, County Government executive members and other leaders and residents.
The appearance brought together several political aspirants from across Kitui as the county gradually moves towards the 2027 electoral season, although the event centred on the school bus handover and education.
