Kitui East MP hopeful Henry Nyamai on Wednesday joined Wiper Patriotic Front leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Kitui Deputy Governor Wambua Kanani during the handover of a school bus to Mama Pauline Kalonzo Senior Girls Secondary School in Kyuso, Mwingi North.
Kalonzo was the chief guest at the ceremony, which brought together political leaders, community members, students and education stakeholders to witness the handover of the bus to the girls’ school.
Nyamai accompanied Deputy Governor Kanani to the event alongside a group of political leaders and aspirants from across Kitui County.
Those present included Senatorial aspirant Waziri Mbaya Kimwele, Mwingi Central MP aspirant CPA John Makau Kimwele, Kitui West MP hopeful Waziri Kimanga and EALA MP Kennedy Kalonzo, among other leaders.
The event provided an opportunity for leaders to engage with residents and celebrate an initiative aimed at supporting learners and improving access to education in the region.
Nyamai has been increasingly visible in Kitui politics as he positions himself for the Kitui Rural parliamentary seat ahead of the 2027 General Election.
