Kitui South MP Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai on Saturday, July 25, 2026, joined family, friends, and local leaders at Kyandula in Ikutha Ward to celebrate the retirement of Madam Philes Mathenge, bringing to a close an illustrious 40-year career in the teaching profession.
Speaking during the colorful ceremony, Dr. Nyamai praised Madam Philes for her unwavering commitment to education, saying her four decades of service had transformed the lives of countless learners and made a lasting impact on the community.
The MP congratulated the veteran educator on reaching the milestone and wished her God’s blessings, good health, and fulfillment as she embarks on a new chapter in retirement.
