Kitui County Assembly Set to Approve KSh 16.5 Billion Budget to Accelerate Development Under Governor Malombe

The Kitui County Assembly is set to deliver a county budget amounting to KSh 16,537,506,340, a historic financial plan aimed at driving development, improving service delivery, and creating new opportunities for residents.

The KSh 16.5 billion budget is expected to fund key sectors across the county, including healthcare, water, infrastructure, agriculture, and other programmes designed to improve the livelihoods of the people of Kitui.

The budget represents a major commitment towards transforming the county through strategic investments and enhanced public services, as the county government continues implementing its development agenda.

Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has continued to emphasize the importance of prudent financial management and prioritizing projects that directly benefit residents, saying his administration remains focused on delivering tangible results for the people of Kitui.

With the approval of the new budget, the county government is expected to intensify implementation of development programmes across the 40 wards, reinforcing its commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Kitui.
