Mulango Ward residents have declared their support for aspiring Kitui Central Member of Parliament Nzeve Nzau, in what has been described as a strong show of confidence in his leadership and vision for the constituency.
The residents expressed their endorsement during an empowerment and public engagement forum held in Mulango Ward, where they rallied behind Nzau’s bid to represent Kitui Central in the National Assembly in the 2027 General Election.
Nzau, while thanking the people of Mulango for their overwhelming support, said he was humbled by the confidence shown in his leadership and pledged to remain committed to serving the interests of the people.
“I am deeply grateful to my home ward for the overwhelming support and confidence in my leadership. I humbly accept your endorsement as we continue the journey toward serving as the next Member of Parliament for Kitui Central Constituency,” Nzau said.
He also thanked leaders and residents who attended the forum, which was held under the leadership of Kitui South MP Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, saying the unity demonstrated by the community was a sign of their desire for focused and people-centred leadership.
The aspiring MP said the journey ahead would require unity, commitment and collective effort from residents and leaders to champion development, empowerment and better opportunities for the people of Kitui Central.
The endorsement from Mulango Ward adds momentum to Nzau’s campaign as he seeks to succeed current Kitui Central MP Dr. Makali Mulu, who has declared interest in the Kitui gubernatorial race in the 2027 elections.
