Nicholas Mulila, Kimwele Mbaya Join AIC Thokoa Church Fundraiser in Mwingi West

Kitui gubernatorial aspirant CPA Nicholas Mulila and Kitui County CECM for Agriculture Dr. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele on Sunday joined the faithful at AIC Thokoa Church in Mwingi West for a worship service before taking part in a fundraising event aimed at supporting the construction of the church.

The fundraiser attracted church leaders, congregants, local residents, and well-wishers who pledged financial and material support towards completing the church building. The leaders commended the congregation for their commitment to expanding the place of worship and encouraged continued unity in achieving the project.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Mbaya, who is also seeking the Wiper Party ticket for the Kitui Senate seat in the 2027 General Election, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote spiritual growth and community development. He noted that investing in places of worship contributes to strengthening social cohesion and improving the well-being of communities.

The event also highlighted Dr. Mbayaโ€™s continued engagement with residents across Kitui County through faith-based and development activities as political leaders intensify grassroots engagements ahead of the 2027 elections.

Among the leaders present were Kyome/Thaana Ward MCA Hon. Alphonce Mukwaiyu, Kitui gubernatorial aspirant CPA Nicholas Mulila, Mwingi West parliamentary aspirant Hon. Jonathan Ngenga (Kingโ€™ee), church leaders, and other invited guests.
