Yatta/Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Kitute Ndingo on Friday afternoon officially handed over the site for the extension of tarmacking works in Kiusyani Town, marking another step in the ongoing improvement of road infrastructure within the ward.
The project will see the existing tarmac extended by an additional 100 metres to cover the section leading to the Kiusyani Police Station. The extension is expected to enhance accessibility, improve movement of residents and motorists, and boost business activities in the growing town.
Hon. Ndingo expressed gratitude to Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Makau Malombe for approving the additional road works, describing the project as part of the county governmentโs commitment to delivering development across Yatta/Kwa Vonza Ward. He reaffirmed that the administration remains focused on expanding road infrastructure, adding that, โMdogo mdogo lami itafika Kanyangi,โ to emphasize the continued rollout of tarmac roads to more areas.
