MCA Mark Nding’o Inspects Progress of Solar Street Lighting Project in Kwa Vonza

Yatta/Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o today inspected the ongoing installation of integrated solar street lights along the Kwa Vonza–Mwitasyano River stretch, expressing satisfaction with the progress made so far. The project is aimed at enhancing security, improving visibility at night, and supporting economic activities within the area.

Speaking during the inspection tour, Hon. Nding’o said the project is proceeding according to schedule and is expected to bring significant benefits to residents, traders, students, and motorists who use the road. He noted that the solar-powered lights will provide a sustainable and cost-effective solution to lighting challenges in the rapidly growing Kwa Vonza area.

The MCA reaffirmed his commitment to delivering development projects that improve the quality of life for residents, adding that infrastructure development remains a key priority of his leadership. Residents welcomed the project, saying it will enhance safety and boost business operations by extending productive hours after sunset.
