MP Aspirant Benedict Muasya Leads Kiseveni JS Celebrations as School Posts Impressive Results

Education stakeholders and local leaders gathered at Kiseveni Junior School this week to celebrate academic excellence during the institution’s prize-giving ceremony, where students were recognized for their outstanding performance in the 2025 examinations. The event brought together parents, teachers, members of the Board of Management (BoM), students, and leaders in a show of support for education development.

Commissioner on National Revenue Allocation Benedict Muasya, who is also seeking the UDA ticket for Kitui West parliamentary seat in 2027, joined the celebrations and congratulated the school community for its remarkable achievements. He commended the commitment shown by teachers, parents, and learners in maintaining high academic standards.

Kiseveni Junior School recorded an impressive performance in the 2025 examinations, with 11 out of the 21 candidates who sat for their final exams securing places in National Schools. The achievement was hailed as a major milestone for the institution and a demonstration of the school’s growing academic strength.

Despite the strong performance, concerns were raised over inadequate infrastructure, with leaders and stakeholders noting that the school requires additional facilities and improvements to fully unlock its potential and continue producing quality learners. The need for expanded learning spaces and better educational resources was emphasized during the event.

Plans are already underway to support the school’s development, with a new laboratory project scheduled to begin in August. The ceremony was also attended by Senator Beth Syengo alongside other leaders, who reiterated their commitment to supporting education initiatives and ensuring that schools in the region receive the resources necessary for continued success.
