Yatta kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Nding’o on Friday evening presided over the site handover for the installation of street lights from Kwa Vonza town to Mwitasyano River.
The project, which targets the busy highway section, will involve the hoisting and installation of modern street lighting infrastructure aimed at improving visibility and enhancing security for motorists, traders, students, and residents using the route at night.
Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Nding’o said the initiative is part of efforts to improve infrastructure and create a safer environment for the growing Kwa Vonza town and its surroundings. Residents welcomed the project, noting that the lighting will help curb insecurity and boost business activities in the area.
