Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna Draws MASSIVE Ground Support & Online Ahead of 2027 Race as competitors weather

Mwingi West Member of Parliament Charles Nguna is attracting massive growing political attention ahead of the 2027 General Election after social media discussions appeared to show significant support for his leadership and possible re-election bid.

The discussion emerged after a Facebook post reportedly shared by a political rival featured Charles Nguna alongside party affiliations associated with him and another aspirant. However, the post generated widespread reactions from online users, with many commenters expressing support for the MP and referring to him by his popular initials, “CNN.”

Several users flooded the comment section with messages indicating that Charles Nguna remains their preferred candidate for the Mwingi West parliamentary seat in 2027. Supporters repeatedly used the slogan “CNN Siku Sote,” signaling continued loyalty to the legislator.

The online reactions have fueled conversations over a possible political contest between Eng. Ngenga and Charles Nguna in the upcoming elections. While political analysts note that campaigns are still in their early stages, some residents and supporters believe the current online mood reflects strong grassroots backing for the incumbent MP.

At the same time, political debate has continued around Charles Nguna’s close working relationship with the Kenya Kwanza administration. Leaders allied to Wiper Democratic Movement have previously criticized the MP for engaging with the national government on development projects.

One key issue has been the stalled Mbondoni–Migwani road project. Charles Nguna supported efforts to have the government resume and complete the road construction project, a move that sparked criticism from some political opponents.

Supporters of the MP, however, argue that development should take priority over political differences and have welcomed the progress of the project. Reports indicate that construction on the road is progressing, with expectations that the work could be completed in the coming months.

As political activities ahead of the 2027 election gradually take shape, the Mwingi West race is expected to remain one of the closely watched contests in the region.
