The Principal Secretary for Livestock Development, Jonathan Mueke, attended the just concluded 3rd Annual Regulatory Authorities and Agencies Conference held at South Eastern Kenya University in Kwa Vonza, Kitui County.
The three-day conference was presided over by Felix Koskei and brought together leaders from various Government regulatory authorities and agencies to discuss ways of strengthening public service delivery and improving the country’s regulatory environment.
Speaking during the conference, leaders reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to building a responsive, efficient and predictable regulatory framework that supports investment, enterprise growth and improved delivery of services to wananchi.
The forum also emphasized the importance of people-centred regulation aimed at enhancing public trust, accountability and efficiency in Government institutions while ensuring citizens continue to benefit from quality services.
The annual conference serves as a key platform for regulators and public agencies to share experiences, address emerging challenges and align their operations with the Government’s development agenda.
