Yatta kwa Vonza Member of the Kitui County Assembly, Hon. Mark Nding’o, on Saturday joined family members, friends and leaders during the final send-off ceremony of the late James Mutua Mbatha held at Matulani, Nthongoni.
Hon. Nding’o described the late Mbatha as a role model in society, a distinguished entrepreneur and a selfless family man whose life inspired many people within and beyond the community. He noted that the deceased’s contribution to the growth of local business and family values would remain memorable for generations.
The funeral service was also attended by former Kitui Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu, alongside other leaders and residents who turned up in large numbers to pay their last respects. The late James Mutua Mbatha leaves behind a large family, including several dozens of grandchildren.
