Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Mark Nding’o on Wednesday officiated the site handover for the construction of an Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classroom at Nzeve Primary School, in a move aimed at strengthening foundational learning in the area
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Mark Nding’o emphasized the importance of ECDE, describing it as the most critical stage in a child’s educational development.
He noted that investing in early learning infrastructure helps create a strong academic foundation for children while improving access to quality education within local communities.
The MCA further applauded the County Government of Kitui for funding the project, saying the new classroom will provide a better learning environment for young learners at the school.
Residents and education stakeholders welcomed the project, terming it a major boost to education development in the area.
