Kitui East Mp hopeful Hon. Rev. Wilson Muange Musyoka on Sunday continued to strengthen his engagement with the church community in Kitui East, joining worshippers at ACK St. John Kivumbini where he participated in a church service and shared the Word of God with the congregation. The clergy accorded him an opportunity to minister, highlighting the close relationship he has built with faith-based institutions across the constituency.
During the service, Rev. Muange preached from Isaiah 58:6-12, teaching on the importance of genuine fasting that pleases God and attracts divine blessings. He urged Christians to embrace righteousness, compassion, and service to others as key pillars of faith, emphasizing that spiritual renewal should translate into positive action within communities.
Following the church service, Hon. Muange presided over a fundraising event aimed at supporting a bishopโs transition program. He commended the congregation for their generosity and called on leaders and residents to continue supporting initiatives that strengthen the church and promote social development.
Later in the day, the aspiring Kitui East parliamentary candidate joined church leaders and worshippers at Calvary Temple Kivumbini, where he contributed towards the ongoing construction of the church sanctuary. He lauded the congregation for investing in a place of worship and pledged continued support for faith-based development projects.
Addressing congregants, Rev. Muange stated that the time had come for righteous leadership to guide the constituency, arguing that integrity and servant leadership are essential for meaningful development. Quoting Proverbs 29:2, he told worshippers that โwhen the righteous rule, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan,โ as he continued to rally support ahead of the 2027 Kitui East parliamentary race.
