Kitui County Senate hopeful Dr. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele on Sunday joined hundreds of faithful at AIC Kiatine Church in Matinyani Ward, Kitui West Sub-County, during a thanksgiving service held in honor of Eastern Regional KNUT Chairman, Mr. Simon Nding’o.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Kimwele praised Mr. Nding’o for his outstanding leadership in the education sector, noting that his dedication to championing teachers’ welfare has positively impacted the teaching fraternity across the Eastern region. The thanksgiving service brought together religious leaders, educators, politicians, and community members in celebration of Mr. Nding’o’s service and achievements.
Among the leaders who attended the occasion were Hon. Edith Nyenze, MP for Kitui West; Hon. Dr. Makali Mulu, MP for Kitui Central; KNUT National Treasurer Nicholas Mulila; Waziri Frederick Kimanga; CS Mulewa; CO Bretta Mwangangi; Matinyani Ward MCA Hon. Munyalo; Hon. Chairity Kathathi; Jane Kibati; Fridah Makasi, and other distinguished guests. The leaders commended Mr. Nding’o for his commitment to education and community development.
